Portuguese Wines: A Guide.
Wine and Portugal go hand in hand and there is nothing finer than a nice cool glass of white, red or rose or indeed green wine on a hot summers day, overlooking a nice river, the sea or even your own garden.
Portuguese wines are relatively uncommon outside of Portugal (With the exception of Mateus Rose) but are steadily growing in popularity around the world.
There are 12 wine regions in mainland Portugal accompanied by Madeira and the Azores.
The regions are;
