Figueira e Barros, Built on a hill that offers a privileged view of the surrounding landscape, the parish of Figueira e Barros was born from the union of two independent parishes, at the end of the 18th century. With an area of 70.27 km2, Figueira e Barros has 309 inhabitants (according to the 2011 Census).
Despite being a small town, it has several elements of interest, particularly in terms of historical and megalithic heritage.

In terms of sport, Figueira e Barros has good conditions for hunting and fishing, and is also the site of some sporting events in the areas of athletics, mountain biking and traditional games.
